""While so many excellent glass photos, the marbles are a timely and classic glass object. They were one of my favorite games to play and collect as a kid. Seeing the parrot with his marbles has a story of it's own that I want to know more about. This is why I chose this photo.."

“The amazing entries to this contest made it very difficult to pick a favorite. But there was one entry that touched my heart immediately when I saw it and it was the candid photo submitted by Sheryl Rosedoff Bergman. Not only did the song title appropriately fit the challenge theme, it was one of my favorite songs back in the day. So I am choosing this entry as Best of Theme.” ~ Debbie

“So many wonderful photos! I never realized what a difficult task it is to select just one! My pick for Best of Theme is Terri Tiqhe's "Mills Rose Garden, Syracuse, NY". In this shot, Terri has managed to capture frames within frames within frames, what with the columns, the arched trellises, the rose vines, and even the grass/cement around the bricks/stones. She has included both natural and man-made frames, as well as both curved and straight lines. Even frames of light and dark. And all that in exquisite harmony. Well-done, Terri!”

“As soon as I saw this photo, it drew me right into it. I love the depth and texture of it. It's abstract and so 3 dimensional. Is it a flower, a spore or something out of a 1950's Sci-Fi movie? Let your imagination decide.” ~ Peggi

“I liked the very strong composition made of of simple shapes and lines plus the feeling it evoked of entering into another realm hopefully full of possibility whilst at the same time showing no detail. A leap of faith."
